Mona, tesoro del Caribe

Mona island was a ceremonial center for Taino Indians who left pictograms and finger painting on the cave walls. With the Spanish arrival and later with pirate ships, Mona became a food and water supplier. Later between the 19th and 20th century, more than 600 men extracted guano, a fertilizer, from the caves. Presently it is a natural reserve managed by the Natural Resource and Environment Department and a place where on-going research projects are the preservation of the hawksbill turtle and the big iguanas as well as climate change and geology. Also archeologists from Britain are collaborating with local researchers interpreting Taino culture and pictographs; Speleologists from different parts of the world, together with a couple of Puerto Rican specialists, have mapped already more than 200 caves and continue to visit the island annually.

OMG!!! This movie cannot be simply described in words. Go see this movie guys. Your mind will be blown. I've already seen this movie and looking forward to see it again.
This is the first movie I really enjoyed it. The story is pretty standard Documentary. Fine by me. It looks fabulous, some nice toys to enjoy. If you want some fun, nothing too deep, that looks good!
No idea why this is not rated higher. Visuals are awesome and the storyline has great potential.
Nice. Expect very much from the cast and director. And all expectations fulfilled.
One of the greatest films ever made. Please do not watch it on TV because Sonia Fritz tuned the editing in such a precise way that simply pausing for a commercial break can literally affect the way your brain processes this masterpiece.
This movie is amazing! Without a doubt 5 stars!
