The Amplitude of Time

Last year I went to Indonesia to make a film. The project was a failure... but there was something in the experience itself that made me come back to the rushes, so I decided to put these images into dialogue with the verses in 'Song of Myself' by Walt Whitman. The result is a diary, a meeting with wild nature, ancestral rites, a cross between the spiritual and the animal, the look of someone who deals with the unknown in the search for oneself.

Absolutely awesome. Juan Rayos is a visual genius, I mean he is able to center the whole film and the whole action on the feelings.

Didn't really care about the weak plot and tropes. Good visuals and you'll probably enjoy it if you like Documentary.
