Hialeah Park, one of America's most storied horse tracks, was on the verge of closing in 1974. That's when businessman John Brunetti, against the advice of friends and associates, gambled on the ailing racecourse. Forty years later, Brunetti and Hialeah continue to defy the odds.

Loved this movie, the premise, the build up and action. The action was believable, and the story is one that is still playing out in this country.

Some people said the plot was complicated and difficult to follow. We totally disagree, my wife and daughter thought the plot was easy to follow and they liked the way the story developed and loved the ending.
I really enjoyed this movie from beginning to end.
