In 1985, Icabod Flewellen, the founder of the first African American Museum, was locked out, replaced and expelled from the institution he created. Sixteen years after his death, never before seen interview footage emerges explaining his side of the story. This film raises the question of whether Icaobod Flewellen was a true visionary or just bitter.

Very early in this film, I formed an interpretation which I believe to be completely correct, and borne out by the plot and details. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey, and was surprised by many aspects of the film along the way.
