Babban and his wife Laxmi adopt Vijay whose son of Babban's friend after his death.Babban wants to fulfill dream of his friend who wanted to see Vijay as an engineer.Vijay is unaware of his adoption he is very devoted son towards his parents.Vijay falls in love with Vidya and soon gets married.Vidya being from a rich family cant adjust in his family and starts ill treating his parents..Vijay also learns about his adoption.Further leading to more tensions Which puts Vijay in an asylum.
