Stand up and walk

A young woman with a spinal cord injury is presented with the opportunity to represent the Netherlands at the first Bionic Olympics in Zurich. Working together with an ambitious team of TU Delft students that has developed a customised exoskeleton, she seizes the challenge with high hopes of returning to an ambulant life. Unfortunately reality proves more stubborn than others would have her believe.

One of the greatest films ever made. Please do not watch it on TV because Sander Burger tuned the editing in such a precise way that simply pausing for a commercial break can literally affect the way your brain processes this masterpiece.
