Mexican American Heritage: Revised

How do we inspire the Dreamers, Chicanos and Latino children that now represent the majority of the student body in Texas? Texas State Board of Education member, Ruben Cortez, hoped to do so by creating a textbook on the history and culture of this ever growing majority, but when the finished book is full of racist stereotypes, it's up to Ruben to galvanize the public to try and stop it from being published.

Well-crafted, well-written, and well-acted film. John Ayala added depth to its characters and an acerbic quality to its witty dialog.
