Amazing surprise! Leslie Caron is awesome. His powerful performance elevates this movie. Gene Kelly is the most charismatic movie star today, and is well deserved. I really enjoyed and cheered!
No idea why this is not rated higher. Visuals are awesome and the storyline has great potential.

Leslie Caron kept this movie train moving along while Gene Kelly was in his element. It’s not a film that is going to have you guessing what is going to happen next but it's enjoyable from start to finish. It's a holiday

Excellent gritty film that concentrates on a few strong performances! Leslie Caron!!!! that amazing man deserves to be on the top notch productions and here he is, one brilliant movie after another and on key roles. Gene Kelly is another artist who takes you into the story. WONDERFUL!!
