The I Mine

The first form of history is the story you tell to yourself. In The I Mine paleoanthropologists dig for our ancestors while miners dig for diamonds. At the same time, the entries of a historian's diary reveal his own digging for the most valuable diamond: the 'self'. What if self-understanding would require the same principles as the understanding of texts? The I Mine is a story about history-writing with characters in search of a voice. Facts, fiction and the act of storytelling become the same thing in a film that poses as a documentary.

This is the best looking version of the theatrical release. You also get the standard blu-ray with 3 different versions of the film. You can’t go wrong with this package in my opinion.
