Shadow Across the Path

Two events that occurred in East Texas in the 1930s reverberated around the world at the time, and one of them has never been surpassed as a tragedy of its kind. Yet the story seems lost in history to most of the population. Heart-wrenching stories told by several who lived through the time and events, bring it all back to life, accompanied by rarely seen film and photos of the day.

I wasn't expecting such a detailed and intricate storyline, but it was a great surprise, great animation and good performances by all of the actors involved.

I don't often see a modern film that I thoroughly enjoy, but this is one of the exceptions. From the start, you are immersed in the movie.
