Thunder and Dust

In the 1970s there were almost 700 speedways in Australia. Today there are less than 100. Thunder and Dust is the story of one of those speedways. Nestled in the heart of the Bega Valley in New South Wales, Australia is Sapphire Speedway, built and managed by generations of volunteers for the last 45 years. In 2011 the track was washed away by a massive flood. In debt and disheartened the Club faces a make-or-break season of racing. Can this dedicated team of racing fanatics save their beloved club?

Usually I try to be careful with over hyping a film, or setting the expectations too high, as film geeks all are guilty for, however for Andrew Moore, this really is not possible.

This is the first movie I really enjoyed it. The story is pretty standard Documentary. Fine by me. It looks fabulous, some nice toys to enjoy. If you want some fun, nothing too deep, that looks good!
