Cornishman Jim Fish goes from running local shop to being part of the British government. He hasn't been to London since he was five! Is he a puppet for a more sinister organization trying manipulate national politics? or is he the voice of the people?

This movie is one that I watch over and over. Being a fan of Henry Hereford acting, this is one of my favorite movies for his acting because he plays such a very interesting character! He's funny and plays the part well. The entire cast is perfectly cast and the story line is great. I highly recommend this movie.

Very moving, very touching. For that alone, it deserves unalloyed plaudits.

Raff Watson is a director I've never paid close attention to before, but after watching this movie, my eyes are now open. I was quite impressed with how serious this man took on the challenge.
