Why would a person make art that intentionally disappears? Life and Sand follows New York City sculptor/designer G. Augustine Lynas as he creates his ephemeral art in a day on the beach. Intercut with sculpting, we get a window into the poetic mind of this creative, playful, and philosophical soul, conscious of every grain of sand he touches. This film explores the symbolism of ephemeral art, human impermanence, the cycle of life and the importance of protecting the natural world.
It's a great movie I give it 10 out of 10
This is a film that should be seen because it’s a great movie.
Such a crazy idea, thought, invention, creativity that blows our mind beyond conscious level.
You should definitely watch this movie. BTW G. Augustine Lynas leads the film with such a confident performance, matching both the cockiness and naivety of his character to great effect.
a new addition to my personal top 10 list! One of the best movies I've ever seen. It's an extremely complicated movie.
I absolutely love this movie! When you get the urge, watch this movie instead, it will be worth it!
Like the movie and would recommend it.
Good plot. G. Augustine Lynas is great as always.
Was not expecting it to be SO GOOD! This has seriously become my favorite movie to date.
to me it's one of many great movies G. Augustine Lynas has made
