We're Not White

A film by Arab American comedian and writer Amer Zahr. 'We're Not White' explores Arab American identity and the community's existence as legally 'white' on the US Census Form. Does being legally white turn this oft-sidelined community into a 'legally invisible' entity? Are Arabs white? Do white people think they are? What kind of ridiculousness does this all bring us? Amer takes us this journey with his unique brand of stand up comedy, expert interviews, and man on the street interviews.

This is a great movie! Give it a chance and you will not regret it. It starts off kind of weird. Stick with it because it all comes together.

Some people said the plot was complicated and difficult to follow. We totally disagree, my wife and daughter thought the plot was easy to follow and they liked the way the story developed and loved the ending.
