I have been interested in life sciences and the topic of climate change ever since I served as video editor on a movie entitled 'The Beginning of the Sustainable World' in 2012. This was a full-length film that debuted at the theater in my hometown, Port Orford, OR, and I always wanted to create a sequel to that movie presenting solutions to these problems. The footage used in this video is from projects that I have worked on since that time searching for answers. In addition, I am from an area that has a very keen sense of the environment so that certainly has inspired me. Of course, there are many interrelated problems that contribute to the growth of the climate change phenomena and we will need to address these as well. I believe that we as a society can fix the problems that face us now through collaboration, intelligent thought and empathetic discourse - we are, in fact, the first species that has roamed the Earth at a time when we actually have the intelligence and technology to do something about it. I would like to believe that the planet that we call home will be with us for a long time into the future. Thank you.

This movie has a special place in my heart possibly because I've done the work that Nathan Malamud has done before! Great choice of actors as well!

One of the greatest films ever made. Please do not watch it on TV because Nathan Malamud tuned the editing in such a precise way that simply pausing for a commercial break can literally affect the way your brain processes this masterpiece.

Some people said the plot was complicated and difficult to follow. We totally disagree, my wife and daughter thought the plot was easy to follow and they liked the way the story developed and loved the ending.
