Extended Play: LA Record Truck

Inspired by the taco trucks of Los Angeles and the resurgence of vinyl as a sought-after medium for music, Kirk Dominguez purchased an old economy-line van and converted it into a mobile record truck. Kirk grew up in Long Beach, and in the 80's and 90's photographed the likes of Nirvana, L7, Sonic Youth, Fugazi, etc. throughout Los Angeles, from Al's Bar to The Roxy, for Flipside and other local fanzines. Kirk and his iconic record truck can be found slinging wax to the vintage vinyl collector and the newly discovered fan all over southern California.
